Joe joined Tableaux Wealth as a Financial Advisor in 2025.  Joe brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for simplifying complex financial topics into easy-to-understand stories for clients.  He takes great delight in educating individual and institutional investors on a range of investments and investing issues and is keen to help clients understand their financial alternatives and make sound planning decisions.  In addition to serving his own wealth management clients at Tableaux, Joe oversees the firm's marketing and education efforts.

Before joining Tableaux, Joe held senior marketing positions at Bankers Trust Company and Citigroup Asset Management in New York City, and for the last 20 years has operated a marketing agency in Sarasota, Florida.  He has been honored as a retirement plan education expert for Fortune 100 firms, winning awards for excellence from Pensions & Investments and the Plan Sponsor Council of America.

Joe and his wife live in Sarasota, where they raised their two sons.  Joe enjoys running, cycling, hiking, and swimming, and he fly fishes wherever he happens to be.  He also writes about science and technology for Scientific American, Science News, and The Dispatch.  Joe earned a BA in English from The College of William & Mary.
