Joe is based in Sarasota, Florida, where he works with individuals and families on integrated financial planning and investment management.

He partners with Matt and Luke to help clients make clear, confident decisions about their money—bringing structure to complex situations and ensuring that investment strategy and financial planning work together as a single, coherent plan. He also leads the firm’s marketing and education efforts.

Earlier in his career Joe held senior marketing roles at Bankers Trust and Citigroup Asset Management in New York. He later founded and ran a marketing agency in Sarasota, advising leading financial institutions on thought leadership strategy. His work has been recognized by Pensions & Investments and the Plan Sponsor Council of America.

Joe and his wife live in Sarasota, where they raised their two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys running, cycling, hiking, kayaking, and fly fishing. Joe also writes about science and technology for Scientific American, Science News, and The Dispatch. Joe earned a BA in English from The College of William & Mary.
